Details
This cartridge is loaded with a total metal jacket bullet. To be sure, the TMJ does have a lead core. But because that piece of lead is completely surrounded by copper – instead of left exposed at the base, as is the case with an FMJ – the heat of ignition can not evaporate any lead off the TMJ. The other advantage of a TMJ is appreciably less fouling of the barrel, which helps conserve accuracy!
Ammo Inc. decks out each of their signature series cartridges with a reloadable brass case, noncorrosive Boxer primer (which does contain a trace amount of lead), and extremely clean-burning Hyperclean Technology powder. Twenty boxes per case, and fast shipping.
