Details
This ammo is just like the Russki stuff. It is loaded with 124 grain full metal jacket projectiles that have bimetal jackets. Their cores are solid lead, but their jackets are almost entirely made of steel. The steel is too soft to damage a rifle’s barrel, although it is certain to attract a magnet – and a lot of commercial ranges don’t like that! Make sure your range is cool with magnetic ammo before stocking up on these range loads.
These cartridges are loaded with Berdan primers. They’re noncorrosive, and they should ignite without fail in any type of 7.62×39 firearm. Steel cases make this ammo even more economical. They also make it impossible to reload, so don’t bother bringing home your empties.
