The SS109 bullet is a steel penetrator tipped, lead core bullet complete with the standard green paint used to designate penetrator tip ammunition. This ammunition is a great choice for the shooter looking for a great affordable round for target shooting, training and practice. This ammunition is non-corrosive in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases with military primer crimp.
Please Note: While the 5.56x45mm NATO will fit in a .223 Remington chamber, the 5.56 is a military round that runs at higher pressures than its .223 counterpart and is not recommended to be fired in a .223 Remington chamber.

Keith From Indiana –
10.5″ AR
I use this in a 10.5″ integrally suppressed AR. Sub-moa groups at 100 yards and I have killed hogs and coyotes out to 300 yards. Using a Primary Arms 1-8x scope with ACSS reticle I can hit an 8″ steel plate at 500 yards no problem.
Marine Sgt Ed From Georgia –
Great round
I train and shoot on a Marine Corps League rifle team. I have found this round to be the most accurate of the rounds that I have fired. I compared then to 55 gr and 75 gr match. They are more accurate than the 55gr and just as accurate as the 75gr match for half the price. *This is shooting iron sites from 200 yards. I have not compared them from other distances.
