If you want to build a semi-auto Skorpion pistol, this is one of the best domestic options out there. It takes patience to assemble, but the end result is a super accurate, incredibly unique firearm that always grabs attention.

The black oxide finish on the receiver matched the patina of my surplus Czech upper assembly almost perfectly. It doesn’t look like a mismatched modern clone; it looks like a cohesive, original piece of history.

My original receiver came with a magwell that was just too narrow to insert a magazine. I contacted customer service, sent it back, and they completely re-milled and refinished it for me. It functions flawlessly now. Excellent response to feedback.

I bought a surplus .32 ACP VZ61 kit years ago when they were incredibly cheap. Finding a receiver was impossible until this hit the market. Assembly was straightforward, and it’s easily the coolest, lowest-recoil “vibey” gun at the range.

Building a Skorpion is a rite of passage for surplus fans. Feeding a .32 ACP can be a bit pricey and hard to find locally, but completing this build on an American-made milled lower was an awesome experience. Zero malfunctions on its first range trip.

I hesitated to buy this after hearing about the tight dimensions on the first batch, but the newer stock is great. The engraving is clean, and the text looks highly professional. There are some minor machining tool marks inside the lightening cuts, but cosmetically it looks beautiful assembled.

Very glad they took the massive Southern Tactical billboard logo off the side of the newer batches. The minimal text keeps the receiver looking much closer to an original military surplus build. Less is definitely more here.
